We are going to Albany January 10th !!
Last year there were a bunch of bills that would have violated medical freedom, religious freedom, and parental rights.
Fortunately none of these bills were able to get passed.
I believe that the combination of an election cycle, loud public pushback, and our powerful presence (4,000 strong) in Albany last year helped prevent these bills from passing.
Things have changed.
It is not an election cycle so many politicians might think that they are in the clear to violate our rights.
We must show up organized and in large numbers to signal to them that the medical freedom/parental rights community is not only alive but growing and thriving!
We now hold more power than ever before. This past election cycle proved that medical freedom is a major political platform. The medical tyranny that arose during the last couple of years galvanized Americans to push back and demand their freedom.
Medical freedom became a main conversation piece during the election because many people lost their jobs, ability to get an education, attend events, eat at restaurants, travel, etc
We are now a powerful voting block. Nearly ten politicians that voted to remove religious exemptions lost their seats and New York turned more red than we have seen in quite some time. Many that were lucky enough to keep their seats only did so by the skin of their teeth, including Kathy Hochul !!
We must get back to Albany January 10 to let these public servants know that we mean business. Medical freedom and parental rights are a birthright and we will not allow anyone to take them away from us.
It is an opportunity to try to build relationships with our representatives as well as with people in our own community. More than 60 of these representatives have never voted on any vaccine bill ever. We can’t assume we know how they will vote if the time comes. Showing up big in the beginning of the legislative season is very important because it raises an alarm in the minds of our public servants and sets the tone for the year.

A8398, (Dinowitz-D), Eliminates religious exemptions from vaccine mandates for work and school
S6541a (Rivera-D)/A7326a (Gottfried-D), Creates an “immunization passport,” pretends to protect the privacy of vaccination records in the state database by denying access to federal immigration enforcement authorities.
