DOH Held Committee Meeting On New Quarantine Camp Regulation
Yesterday an amazing activist gave us a heads up that the NY Department of Health was trying to sneak in another Quarantine Camp Regulation.
It seems like they just tweeked one aspect of Governor Hochul’s Version that was struck down in court as unconstitutional. (We still have not had a lawyer analyze it so stay tuned)
This new regulation specifies that those deemed a public health threat would be quarantined in a medical facility as opposed to Hochul’s which would allow them to Quarantine you anywhere they wanted.
With short notice Michael Kane put out the word and a few Activists were able to attend the public hearing to leave public comments. The DOH stated that there will be a 60 day public comment period.
