NY Take Action: Vax bill seeks partial repeal of MLK’s “I Have a Dream” Civil Rights Act of 1964

New York Assemblymember Jeffrey Dinowitz, the drug industry’s most loyal toady in Albany, has a bill, A8398, that seeks to repeal in effect parts of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was the goal of the March on Washington in 1963 where on August 28, 1963, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his inspiring “I Have a Dream” speech. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in the Unites States on the basis “race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.”

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 gives people with religious beliefs, including beliefs contrary to some or all aspects of vaccination, a right to a “reasonable accommodation” by employers, which is exactly what Dinowitz seeks to eliminate. Dinowitz’s bill A8398 seeks to ban in New York religious exemptions from vaccine mandates for employment and to attend college. How a state law will supersede a federal law is something we will leave up to Dinowitz to explain.

Dinowitz knows nothing about vaccines or vaccine policy and he has contempt for religious beliefs different from his own.  In a video still on the New York Assembly website Dinowitz’s calls religious beliefs that conflict with vaccination policy “utter garbage.” You can see a video of Dinowitz making this statement on his Facebook page at 3:15 https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=441644779709395

Please call your Assemblymember and ask him or her if they support Dinowitz’s A8398 and his effort to partially repeal  Martin Luther King’s  “I have a Dream” Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the right to a religious exemption for employment or to attend college. No matter what else you might say about Dinowitz there is no denying that he is the hardest working person in Albany for the giant companies that control the global vaccine market and the public health apparatus. His bill A8378 would require Covid shots for all K-12 students to attend school, and his A2316 mandates annual flu shots for K-12 kids, and his A7829 mandates Covid shots for college students. Obviously, Dinowitz does not think that anyone should have any say about what goes into our own bodies. He is also the author the bill that passed in 2019 that eliminated the religious exemption for K-12 students, which made New York one of only four states that have repealed their religious exemption.

Right now there is no identical bill in the State Senate and the bill has no co-sponsors in the Assembly. That could change very quickly. Pfizer and other drug/vaccine companies can start squeezing them and turn on the money taps.
